Apple sued for allowing Telegram on its platform

 The “Coalition for a Safer Web” group has sued Apple for allowing Telegram on its App Store. The Group states that Telegram is a place for extremists to spread their ideas on the web. Despite that apple allows it on their App Store but has banned Parler.

Filing the suit was the Coalition for a Safer Web, a nonpartisan group that advocates for technologies and policies to remove extremist content from social media, and the coalition’s president, Marc Ginsberg, a former U.S. ambassador to Morocco.

Telegram has been accused of hosting conversations of “white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and other hateful content,” A similar suit will be filed against Google in the next few days.

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for Northern California and requires Apple to remove Telegram from the App Store.

While Telegram is a messaging app, it also offers channels and public groups that users can access through using the app’s built-in search. Also the app can be used for shaving large size files.

  According to SamMobile leaks, the specifications and model number of the next-gen Samsung folding phones are out. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is reported to come with model number SM-F926, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip handset is tipped to come with an SM-F711 model number. The report suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 would come with One UI 3.5, based on Android 11, and might feature at least 256GB of storage. The Galaxy Z Flip 3, on the other hand, is reported to come with 128 GB and 256 GB storage, along with the same One UI 3.5, based on Android 11.

Telegram Bot used to Sells Facebook User’s Phone Number

As per a report from Motherboard, database of Facebook users' phone numbers is being sold by using a Telegram bot. The starting price is one credit per number, which is the equivalent of $20. Reportedly,  533 million  Facebook users' numbers are available, and even though Facebook fixed the issue back in 2019, the information is clearly still there to be taken advantage of. The data breach was found by Alon Gal, who told   Motherboard  " It is very worrying to see a database of that size being sold in cybercrime communities, it harms our privacy severely and will certainly be used for smishing and other fraudulent activities by bad  Using a Telegram bot enables a hacker to do two things in this scenario, they can find someone's phone number if they have that person's Facebook user ID, alternatively, if they have the person's Facebook user ID they can then find their phone number.
