"The passing of Mr. Kearns was deeply troubling to me and to the entire company."  CEO Vlad Tenev apologized to the family of a young Robinhood user who died by suicide. Alexander Kearns, a 20-year-old University of Nebraska student, said the young man died by suicide after his Robinhood account appeared to show a loss of $730,000. Robinhood announced changes to the platform following Kearns' death.

  According to the CPU Monkey page , the M1X will be included in the all-new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models due later this year, and the redesigned 27-inch iMac.  The new MacBook Pros are expected to include additional ports not found on current-generation models, a next-generation MagSafe charging system, and an all-new design. The new laptops will also allegedly ditch the love-it-or-hate it Touch Bar, while adding brighter displays that could potentially use mini LED technology.

  Clubhouse, an invitation-only audio-chat social media app has garnered a lot of attention in the past few weeks. The app has become highly popular after big names like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg joined the app. The company is yet to reveal the total number of downloads or registered users. Back in January CEO Paul Davison revealed that the app is growing 2 million active users weekly. This means the monthly active users and the total number of registration would be much higher. On the Other Hand  Facebook is reportedly beginning to build an audio chat product, aimed at rivaling Clubhouse.

  A Geekbench posting, discovered by Twitter user Abhishek Yadav, reveals that the upcoming phone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and 16GB of RAM.

  According to SamMobile leaks, the specifications and model number of the next-gen Samsung folding phones are out. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is reported to come with model number SM-F926, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip handset is tipped to come with an SM-F711 model number. The report suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 would come with One UI 3.5, based on Android 11, and might feature at least 256GB of storage. The Galaxy Z Flip 3, on the other hand, is reported to come with 128 GB and 256 GB storage, along with the same One UI 3.5, based on Android 11.

  HMD Global is expected to launch the new Nokia 5.4 smartphone in India shortly. The phone has been teased on Flipkart, ahead of its official announcement.  Nokia 5.4 features a quad-camera rear setup, comprising of a 48 MP primary camera, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor, with LED flash. The phone gets face-unlock support along with a fingerprint scanner that is placed just below the camera ring and sports a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display with 720x 1,560 pixel resolution (269ppi density), along with a punch-hole cutout for a 16 MP selfie camera. The phone is said to house a 4,000 mAh battery with 10 W charging and will come powered by the power-efficient Snapdragon 662 (11nm) processor, backed with Adreno 610 GPU. It originally comes in two storage options of 4 GB RAM 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM 128 GB, but it is still not clear on which will be available on Flipkart.

  Apple's talks with Hyundai for the 'Apple Car,'  has paused, Hyundai publicly admitted it's no longer in discussions with Apple on the project. Bloomberg reports Hyundai's shares dropped 8.4% after the news, and Kia fell 14%. The two car Manufacturers were reported to be in discussion with Apple for the 'Apple Car,' It is said that Apple was reportedly upset with the public disclosure and wanted to withdraw from any discussions with Hyundai. It is also rumored that Apple had approached six different Car Manufacturers before settling on with Hyundai.  We fee that the deal is still on and Hyundai is trying to do damage control.  

As per a report from Motherboard, database of Facebook users' phone numbers is being sold by using a Telegram bot. The starting price is one credit per number, which is the equivalent of $20. Reportedly,  533 million  Facebook users' numbers are available, and even though Facebook fixed the issue back in 2019, the information is clearly still there to be taken advantage of. The data breach was found by Alon Gal, who told   Motherboard  " It is very worrying to see a database of that size being sold in cybercrime communities, it harms our privacy severely and will certainly be used for smishing and other fraudulent activities by bad  Using a Telegram bot enables a hacker to do two things in this scenario, they can find someone's phone number if they have that person's Facebook user ID, alternatively, if they have the person's Facebook user ID they can then find their phone number.

  Apple has released a warning and has updated the support document for iphone 12 series. The documents states that the new line of Iphones may cause electromagnetic interference with medical devices like Pacemakers and defibrillators.  The company says that the iPhone and the magsafe should be kept at least six inches away from the medical devices to avoid any interference. D octors in the state of Michigan tested the interaction between an iPhone 12 and a patient’s implantable cardiovascular defibrillator. The medical device went into a “suspended” mode during the test and this could be fatal. 

   The “Coalition for a Safer Web” group has sued Apple for allowing Telegram on its App Store. The Group states that Telegram is a place for extremists to spread their ideas on the web. Despite that apple allows it on their App Store but has banned Parler. Filing the suit was the Coalition for a Safer Web, a nonpartisan group that advocates for technologies and policies to remove extremist content from social media, and the coalition’s president, Marc Ginsberg, a former U.S. ambassador to Morocco. Telegram has been accused of hosting conversations of “white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and other hateful content,” A similar suit will be filed against Google in the next few days. The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for Northern California and requires Apple to remove Telegram from the App Store.    After the backlash from users, WhatsApp said it would take the time to clear up misinformation about the move, and that no one would have their account suspended or deleted on February 8, the original deadline. This Comes after the used took to social Media criticizing Facebook of its unethical behaviour in managing users data.  Earlier this Month Facebook changed its policy where the users of WhatsApp will have to share their data with Facebook in order to keep using the service.

   Korea's  eDaily  reports suggest that Hyundai plans to hand over the Apple Car project to Kia, We could say that the car will be manufactured at its Georgia plant.  It is known that the Hyundai Motor Group, which received a proposal from Apple for electric vehicle-related cooperation, has internally arranged that Kia Motors is in charge of this project. If Kia decides to do this, the Apple car production base will be at Kia's Georgia plant in the US. Reports also suggest that Apple is planning to work with the automaker to produce electric vehicles and also develop batteries. The rumors are that Apple is still Negotiating with Hyundai and the deal is yet to be finalized. According to  Bloomberg last week the Car is nowhere near production and it could take another five to seven years.

 MacBook Pro "14" and "16" inch to get major redesign after five Years of wait says Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The new MacBook Pro will feature 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and feature the new ARM Apple silicon instead of Intel CPUs.   Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the Touch Bar will be gone to make way for physical function keys, Also the MagSafe charging connector returns along with more built-in IO ports. Kuo does not specify exactly what IO ports will be offered for now. The current high-end 13-inch MacBook Pro models feature four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, two on each side.
